She is so vivid and yet so transient, stemming from the ultimate reality which we may call the ideal world. This ideal world is not a scheme of abstractions but a source of living powers beyond the senses, profound, silent, but more real than reality. Great art always suggests something beyond its immediate or even remoter meanings, an indefinable 'other' which is the most important thing it has to give.
